RED ANGUS

Our Red Angus herd was started nearly 15 years ago and has been growing ever since with select females from top breeders and mating them to some of the best bulls we could find. We have selected cattle for performance with an emphasis on calving ease, muscle, carcass traits, structural soundness and super mothers. Our first and foundation sire was RBRTs McIntosh II 344. For many years he left us super females and performance-packed bulls. Lchmn Rampage 1098E was our second foundation sire. He complimented McIntosh in many ways and like McIntosh he added muscle, volume and performance. As our herd increased in size we added Glacier Explorer 740 and LCC Divide 1435K to carry on the tradition of excellence. In 2000 we raised OHRR Dakota Copper 29K who continues to see use in our program today. In 2005 ABS purchased our herd sire to sell semen on him - prior to that he was the top selling sire in Big Red Genetics lineup. 29K was shown was never defeated in class and was 2000 World Beef Expo Champion Bull and also Bull Calf at the prestigious NILE show in Billings. Shortly after we added SRR Red Canyon 213, a Grand Canyon from a great Logan daughter, from Strawberry Ridge RA and 4L Advantage R9N, a Perks Advancer 9088 son from a super Make My Day cow. R9N and his mother were cow/calf Champion at the NILE in Billings and later R9N went on the be Reserve Bull Calf Champion in Denver.
